You know that feeling when you're manually copying the same listing across three different platforms for the hundredth time? Or when your import crashes halfway through because you have too many products? We've been there, and we've spent the last few months fixing those exact problems.
Over the past several months, we've rolled out some significant updates to Voolist. We're talking about real bulk cross-listing capabilities, lightning-fast imports that don't crash, AI-powered listing generation, and dozens of quality-of-life improvements that should make your day-to-day selling smoother. Here's what's changed and why it matters for your business.
The Big One: Real Bulk Cross-Listing Is Here
Let's start with the feature everyone's been asking for. In November, we launched our bulk cross-listing engine, and here's what makes it different: we're the only cross-listing tool that offers true bulk cross-listing. Not batch-processing-one-at-a-time bulk. Not select-and-wait-30-minutes bulk. Real bulk cross-listing where you can analyze and publish multiple items simultaneously.
Here's how it works. You select as many listings as you want, run a bulk analysis to check for compatibility issues across platforms, and then publish them all with a single click. The system includes smart validation that catches errors before they happen, so you're not wasting time fixing failed listings after the fact.
Right now, bulk cross-listing works with Shopify, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce. Etsy and eBay support are coming soon. If you're selling on multiple platforms, this feature alone should save you hours each week.
Import System That Actually Handles Large Catalogs
Remember when importing 1,000 listings would crash the system or time out halfway through? That's fixed. We completely rebuilt the import system in October to handle any catalog size without timeout errors.
The import process now runs in the background. You can import 10 listings or 10,000 listings and continue working on other things while the system processes everything behind the scenes. You'll get notifications as your listings are imported, and if anything fails, the system automatically retries to make sure nothing gets left behind.
We also added smart queue management to prevent server overload during large imports. No more watching a progress bar for 45 minutes. Just start the import and move on with your day.
Create Listings 5X Faster with Templates and Smart Defaults
Two features here that work together beautifully. First, you can now use any existing listing as a template for new ones. Selling similar products? Pick a listing, change the title or swap some images, and publish. Everything else stays the same, description, policies, pricing, all of it. What used to take 5 minutes now takes 30 seconds.
Second, we added eBay policy templates and smart defaults. Save your shipping, payment, and return policies as reusable templates. Set your favorites as defaults, and they'll automatically fill in when creating new eBay listings. No more copying the same information over and over. Set it once, use it everywhere.

AI-Powered Listing Generator
Writing product descriptions is tedious. We added an AI-powered listing generator in September that does it for you. Upload your product images, and the system generates professional titles and descriptions automatically. Each account gets AI credits to try it out, and you can purchase more if needed.
The AI isn't perfect, but it's fast and good enough to use as a starting point. You can edit the output before publishing, which still saves you time compared to writing from scratch.
Archive Instead of Delete
Deleting listings used to be permanent. Now you can archive them instead. Think of it as a recycle bin for your listings. Made a mistake? Archive it and restore it later. Want to reuse a listing from last season? Pull it from the archive instead of recreating it.
This feature shipped in September and has already saved people from accidentally losing important listings. It's one of those small quality-of-life improvements that you don't notice until you need it.
Better eBay Integration Across the Board
We've made significant improvements to our eBay integration over the past few months. Here's what changed:
- Policy templates and smart defaults (mentioned above) that save 1-2 minutes per listing
- Enhanced condition mapping that works across all eBay marketplaces globally
- Better aspect handling for more accurate product specifications
- Multi-period listing retrieval for faster inventory synchronization
- Subtitle field support for better product descriptions
- Improved location management with better validation
We also fixed the eBay listing import issue that prevented users with large inventories from importing all their listings. If you had this problem before, it should work correctly now.
For vintage sellers specifically, we recently published a detailed guide on cross-listing from eBay to Etsy that covers best practices and common pitfalls.
Inventory Sync That Actually Works
Inventory synchronization got a major overhaul in November. We unified eBay webhook handling for faster updates, added batch processing for Etsy and eBay sync to handle large inventories efficiently, and optimized cross-listed item tracking to prevent overselling.
We also improved logging so you can see exactly what's happening with your sync status. No more guessing whether your inventory updated correctly across platforms.
Shopify and Etsy Improvements
We upgraded to the latest Shopify API in September, which means faster product syncing, more reliable webhook notifications, and better handling of variants and inventory. If you're using Shopify, these improvements should be immediately noticeable in day-to-day use.
For Etsy, we improved listing state management with readiness status tracking, fixed inventory synchronization accuracy, and corrected listing formatting for items imported from Etsy. The Etsy integration should feel more reliable overall.
Measurement Units and Currency Support
If you're selling internationally, you need proper measurement and currency support. We added this in November. The system now handles various measurement units and currency formatting correctly, so your listings look professional and accurate regardless of your target market.
Enhanced Account Settings
We added new sync preferences and timezone selection options to account settings. This matters if you're managing your business across different regions or need more control over when and how your inventory syncs.
Better Error Messages and Automatic Recovery
Error messages used to be technical and unhelpful. We rewrote them to actually tell you what went wrong and how to fix it. We also added automatic recovery systems for failed operations, most errors now fix themselves without you needing to intervene.
Safety net mechanisms ensure no data is lost during enrichment processes. Smart error parsing shows actionable solutions instead of technical jargon. The goal is to reduce the number of times you need to contact support because something broke.
Interface and User Experience Updates
We shipped dozens of interface improvements across all three updates. Here are the highlights:
- Drag-and-drop image reordering so you can rearrange product photos easily
- Smart category memory that remembers your frequently-used categories and shows them first
- Enhanced category search that finds any category instantly
- Loading alerts that show exactly what's happening during long operations
- Cooldown timers on sync buttons to prevent accidental duplicate actions
- Better validation feedback that shows errors as you type instead of after submission
- Improved dark mode support
- Interactive user guides with step-by-step walkthroughs for new users
These might seem like small changes, but they add up. The interface should feel faster and more intuitive overall.
Live Chat Support
We added a live chat widget in September that connects you directly with our support team. No more waiting for email responses. Just click the chat icon and get help in real time.
Bug Fixes Worth Mentioning
We fixed over 100 bugs across these three updates. Here are the ones that affected the most people:
- Fixed timeout errors when importing large catalogs (1000+ listings)
- Resolved eBay connection refresh token issues that required re-authentication
- Fixed SKU validation errors during listing creation and updates
- Corrected eBay condition enumeration for consistent product condition across marketplaces
- Fixed image upload problems across all platforms
- Resolved listing sync delays for better real-time updates
- Corrected quantity tracking issues in inventory management
- Fixed authentication issues for better security
What's Next
The roadmap for the next few months includes expanding bulk cross-listing support to Etsy and eBay, adding more AI features for product research and pricing optimization, and continuing to improve sync reliability across all platforms.
We're also working on better analytics and reporting tools so you can see which platforms and products are performing best. If you have specific feature requests, the live chat support team can pass them along to the development team.
If you haven't tried Voolist yet, you can see our pricing plans or check out our frequently asked questions for more information. For existing users, all these features are available now in your account.
